Emporia State University is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Tennis program as Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s teams for the Fall 2023 semester (with the possibility of starting in Spring 2024). If you have a strong tennis background, coaching insight, and a desire to further your career in the field of collegiate athletics, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Compensation:
Tuition Waived: Pursue your graduate studies at Emporia State University with your tuition fully covered.
Stipend: Receive a stipend of $6,000 per semester to support your academic and living expenses.
Job Duties:
- Coaching Support: Assist the Head Coaches in planning and conducting team practices, individual training sessions, and match-day.
- Player Development: Collaborate with the coaching staff to identify areas of improvement for players and provide individualized feedback and guidance.
- Recruitment Assistance: Aid in the recruitment process by scouting potential student-athletes, attending events, and contributing to the evaluation and selection of new team members.
- Game Analysis: Analyze match videos and provide insights to help players enhance their tactical approach.
- Team Operations: Assist in organizing team events, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.
