SUPPORT COLLEGE TENNIS ON GIVING TUESDAY

The Future of College Tennis Needs You

The 2024–2025 academic year marked a turning point for college athletics. Ongoing challenges—conference realignments, NCAA litigation, shrinking budgets, and declining enrollment—have taken a toll. The recent House v. NCAA settlement was a tipping point, leading to the elimination of dozens of Olympic sports programs. Tennis was especially hard hit, with 51 collegiate programs cut across all divisions. Without federal intervention, this trend is likely to continue. That’s why the ITA has joined forces with other Olympic sport organizations to hire a lobbying firm advocating for legislation that protects Olympic and women’s sports and the life-changing opportunities they provide.

Make A Donation Today

Donations to the ITA help fund our advocacy efforts and support key marketing initiatives to grow the visibility of college tennis. A recent example is our mini-documentary on University of Arizona standout Jay Friend—a future ATP star and proud product of college tennis. With your help, we can tell more stories that inspire and elevate the sport. The ITA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a small but dedicated staff. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
