We are now through five weeks of the 2023 ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit powered by WTN, as players just have one more week remaining to solidify their spot in the Summer Circuit Points Race Standings.

The ITA tracks the Summer Circuit Points Race standings each week, and after the circuit concludes, the top five men and the top five women will receive automatic entry into the main draw of the ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships powered by WTN and a $500 travel reimbursement to be used towards the expense of attending.

A first-place finish assigns 350 points to the winning player, and players can play each week if they choose.

Diego Martin continues to lead the standings for the men as he has accumulated 1,150 points by winning two events and finishing as a finalist at two other events. Current Charlotte player, Coy Simon, has jumped into the top five of the men’s points race standings this week after winning his second event of the summer at NC State. As things stand, only seven players outside of the top five have a chance of earning a top-five finish with a win this weekend.

For the women, two current collegians in Camille Kiss (UCSB) and Akari Matsuno (Notre Dame) currently lead all players with 700 points through the five weeks of play. With the standings coming down to the final week of play, over 35 players currently have a pathway to a top-five finish in the standings and a berth into the ITA National Summer Championships.
