Nicholasville, KY – After three days of some of the top tennis across all of Division III tennis, it was Emory University who were crowned national champions at the 2024 ITA Division III Men’s National Team Indoor Championship.

In what has been a dominant weekend all three days for the Eagles, the Finals proved to be much of the same for Emory as they continued to showcase that they were the top team in Kentucky and well worthy of the national championship.

Starting with doubles, Emory looked in control across all three courts clinching the lone doubles points with wins on courts no. 1 and no. 2 before sweeping all three courts with a win on court no. 3 to wrap up doubles action.

Moving into singles play, the Eagles find the remaining three needed points from courts no. 1, no. 2, and no. 5 with the clinch coming on court two. All three singles matches were won in straight sets, and Emory would only drop 13 games out of the 49 games played on these three courts.

Today’s ITA Division III Men’s National Team Indoor Championship marked the tenth time in program history that Emory University has taken home the title, the most by any one program in tournament history.
