Summer Circuit Points Race – Week Four Standings

Four weeks of play are now complete from the 2023 ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit powered by WTN, as the Summer Circuit Points Race Standings continue to tighten up as we reach the final weeks of play.

The ITA tracks the Summer Circuit Points Race standings each week, and after the circuit concludes, the top five men and the top five women will receive automatic entry into the main draw of the ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships powered by WTN and a $500 travel reimbursement to be used towards the expense of attending.

A first-place finish assigns 350 points to the winning player, and players can play each week if they choose. As play continues over the next two weeks, these standings will continually be changed as players participate in the over 50 tournaments on the Summer Circuit calendar.

In the men’s standings, California native Diego Martin continues to put together impressive results week over week. The three-star recruit has won the University of Redlands and Azusa Pacific University Summer Circuit events while also finishing as a runner-up at the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pomona Pitzer events.

On the women’s side, the rising Notre Dame junior, Akari Matsuno, is currently pacing all competitors in the standings. The Illinois native won both the Michigan State University and Notre Dame Summer Circuit events over the past two weeks. She currently, sits 225 points clear of second place as we enter the final two weeks of tournaments.
