Week Six Registration Closing Soon for the 2023 ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit

The 2023 ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit powered by WTN is coming to a close! Registration is closing soon for the five host sites who will be holding tournaments during the final week of the 2023 Summer Circuit.

Created for incoming first-year student-athletes and current collegiate players, the Summer Circuit allows players to experience high-level tournament competition during the summer months. And as one of the only national NCAA-compliant series of tournaments offered, the Summer Circuit has kept student-athletes at the peak of their game for numerous years. 

In week six of competition, tournaments will take place across five states on many distinguished colleges and universities including; Texas A&M, Grand Valley State, and Biola to name a few.

In addition, the Summer Circuit events also serve as a qualifier for the ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships, showcasing 64 of the top collegiate players from around the country. This qualifying process is based on the total number of points gained during the Summer Circuit Points Race which attributes points to participants based on finish at each Summer Circuit tournament.

Returning NCAA Division I players who win the singles and doubles events at the Summer Championships will receive a wildcard into the main draw of the ITA Men’s & Women’s All-American Championships. Additionally, returning NCAA Division I players who are finalists at the Summer Championships will receive a wildcard into the qualifying round of the All-American Championships.

The Summer Circuit has been one of the most long-standing and successful events for collegiate athletes and high-level juniors on the ITA calendar. The circuit has grown from 35 to 55 tournaments during the past few years while doubling to over 5,000 players.
