Position Overview

Butler University, a Division I institution in Indianapolis, IN, and a member of the Big East, is accepting applications for Head Coach of its Division I Women’s Tennis program. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Tennis Program, including:

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and recruiting academically qualified and talented student-athletes
  • Organizing and conducting team workouts and competition
  • Arranging a Division I schedule and team travel
  • Managing the operating and scholarship budgets
  • Selecting and managing any assistant coaches

Qualifications 

  • Earned baccalaureate degree required
  • 5 years of coaching experience at the intercollegiate level is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of the NCAA 
  • Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, colleagues and the campus community
