College Contenders: Wake Forest University

Welcome to the tenth edition of the Cracked Racquets 2020-21 College Contenders, focusing on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Wake Forest Men’s Tennis Head Coach Tony Bresky discusses his team’s upcoming 2021 season, his decision to head to TCU for the ITA Kickoff Weekend, the difficult lineup choices he faces in 2021, how his team hopes to negotiate the difficulties of this season, and so much more.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons return all of their core contributors from last season and have also added a few newcomers, which should put this team in contention for a title in May. Head Coach Tony Bresky will be gunning for his second national championship ring since taking over the program in Winston-Salem, and he’ll be able to work with one of the most talented and deep rosters in the country.

Here is CR’s examination of Wake Forest’s roster.
