SEATTLE, Wa. – The first-round matchups are now set for the 2024 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship as the draw has now been announced for the most prestigious indoor competition on the college tennis calendar.

Comprised of 16 of the nation’s best teams, the ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship is an event packed with excitement and history as the championship rolls into year 37 in just a few days from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

The 2023 ITA National Team Indoor Champions and NCAA Team Champions, North Carolina, will enter the 2024 Indoor Championships as the top-seeded team. Bringing back nearly their entire roster from last season, the Tar Heels have won four-straight ITA National Team Indoor Championships and have their sights set on making it five-straight this season.

Following closely behind North Carolina as the second seed is Stanford. The Cardinal bring an unbeaten record to Seattle and already have marquee wins over Texas A&M and San Diego, amongst others, on their resume. Stanford brings in a mix of experience and youth to Seattle, including one of the top freshmen in all of college tennis in 2023 US Open Girls Champion Katherine Hui.

Rounding out the top four seeds will be Oklahoma State (3) and Michigan (4). The Cowgirls have one of the most impressive resumes in all of college tennis to this point in the season and have already beaten three teams taking part in the 2024 ITA Indoor Championships (Michigan, Ohio State, and Pepperdine). For Michigan, they have taken down Oklahoma and Virginia already this season and will have a tough battle with Florida prior to the Indoor Championships as well.

Across all of the teams, the Pac 12 and SEC lead all conferences with four teams represented in the Indoor Championships, finishing just one above the ACC which has three teams represented this year.

As a single-elimination tournament, teams will play one match each day with the Championship Match being played on Monday, February 12, at noon (PT). However, all teams are guaranteed to play at least three matches over the weekend through either the main or consolation draw.

A PlaySight and TrackTennis live stream, as well as iOnCourt live scoring, will be available for every match at the 2024 Division I Women’s Indoor Championship. We’re also proud to partner once again with Cracked Racquets to provide on-site commentary during the tournament. Fans can find the broadcast on the Cracked Racquets YouTube channel.
