Program Information: 

  • 1.5 – 2 years in length
  • Beginning May 2024

Job Duties:

  • Assist the head coach in duties that the tennis team requires.
  • Assist with office duties and paperwork.
  • Assist the tennis players in practice with feeding and improving tennis technique.
  • Assist with recruiting processes.
  • Assist with the academic success of the Shorter Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams.
  • Assist with match scheduling, weight training scheduling, and any other activities that the team will participate in.

Qualifications: 

  • Apply and be accepted into the Shorter University Graduate Program 
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university. 
  • Coaching experience preferred.
  • Experience as a tennis player in college. 
  • A US driver’s license.
  • Able to travel with the team.
  • Computer and communication skills required.
  • Available to an untraditional work schedule.
  • Committed to Shorter University and its mission.
