TEMPE, Az. – In case you missed it, the ITA announced last week the launch of the brand new ITA Summer Series powered by WTN. This Summer Series is an elevated version of the ITA Summer Circuit that many of you might be familiar with from the past.
With this new format, the ITA is happy to announce the host sites for the upcoming ITA Summer Points Race Series powered by WTN. Taking place at over 40 sites during the span of six weekends, the ITA Summer Points Race Series is a perfect chance for any high-level junior, current collegian, or recently graduated alumni to compete against other high-level players this summer.
Being played across 20 states, the ITA Summer Points Race Series offers the best route to improve your WTN rating this summer, which is the official rating utilized in tournament seeding and selection across college tennis. Additionally, there is a record amount of prize money available to players this year, with more than 15 sites offering prize money that totals over $25,000 across all tournaments.
Additionally, the race to the ITA National Summer Championships is still in play as players who win these events will earn points towards their Points Race total. The top three men’s and women’s Points Race finishers will earn direct entry into the ITA National Summer Championships where $20,000 in prize money is up for grabs.
