INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is happy to announce the selection of the University of Indianapolis as the host institution for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 ITA Division II Men’s and Women’s National Team Indoor Championships.

Hosted at the UIndy Tennis Center, a seven-court indoor facility just South of downtown Indianapolis, the University of Indianapolis will look to continue on the success shown these past two seasons with the Division II Men’s National Team Indoor Championships which have been hosted at the UIndy Tennis Center since 2022.

“The ITA is thrilled that the University of Indianapolis has agreed to host the 2025, 2026, and 2027 ITA Division II Men’s and Women’s National Team Indoor Championships alongside the ITA,” said ITA Competitive Manager, Lizzie Conti. “Together, we are dedicated to elevating the championship experience, fostering camaraderie, and showcasing the pinnacle of collegiate tennis talent. The ITA Division II Men’s and Women’s National Team Indoor Championships embody the essence of collegiate tennis excellence and we are excited to see what these next three years hold.”

Bringing in the best teams from across the country, many national champions from the Division II Men’s and Women’s National Team Indoor Championships have gone on to win the NCAA Championships later in the year, with many others reaching the Finals or Semifinals of the NCAA Tournament after strong showings at the ITA Indoor Championships. 

“We are extremely excited about the news,” proclaimed University of Indianapolis Men’s and Women’s Tennis Head Coach, Malik Tabet. “Hosting the ITA Men’s Indoors has been a great experience for our student-athletes, the University, and the Indianapolis tennis community, and now having the opportunity to host the women’s as well is a great honor. The ITA Team Indoor Championships are an amazing event, and we’re committed to providing the best possible tournament for some of the nation’s best tennis programs.”

In 2024, the Division II Men’s National Team Indoor Championships are set to be held from Feb. 16-18 at the UIndy Tennis Center in Indianapolis, while the Division II Women’s National Team Indoor Championships will be held from Feb. 23-25 at the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center in Kearney, Nebraska. For the 2025-27 ITA National Team Indoor Championships, the tournaments will continue to be held during the second weekend of February for the men and the following weekend for the women. 

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to host the ITA Men’s and Women’s National Team Indoor Championships for the next three-year period,” stated University of Indianapolis Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, Greg Shaheen. “This provides a great experience for our student-athletes and fans from around the country to enjoy our facility and the variety of activities our campus and city offer.”
