Were you hired as a head coach, assistant coach, graduate assistant, or volunteer during the 2022-23 Academic Year, or were you just recently hired for the 2023-24 season? If so, you might be interested in joining the annual ITA new coach orientation session on August 14th beginning at 11:00 am PT.
Led by the ITA’s Director of Coach Education, Lauren Conching, the orientation is geared towards helping coaches better understand the inner workings of intercollegiate tennis and the resources available to them moving forward in their careers.
The orientation will also provide a Q&A with Lauren and other experienced coaches to help answer any questions they have about topics such as recruiting, fundraising, marketing, scheduling, practice planning, and coaching philosophy to help get them started.
All new coaches in attendance will be invited to join a year-long support group so that coaches can continue to learn from one another and develop a professional network.
