TEMPE, AZ – After the first week of competition from the 2023 ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit powered by WTN, the first group of champions have been crowned propelling each of them to the top of the Summer Circuit Points Race standings.
The ITA tracks the Summer Circuit Points Race standings each week, and after the circuit concludes, the top 5 men and the top 5 women will receive automatic entry into the main draw of the ITA Tennis-Point National Summer Championships powered by WTN and a $500 travel reimbursement to be used towards the expense of attending.
In week one, all of the champions of each Summer Circuit event will all be atop the Points Race Standings as a first-place finish assigns 350 points to the winning player. As play continues over the next five weeks, these standings will continually be changing as players participate in the over 50 tournaments on the Summer Circuit calendar.
Across all of the winners in week one, several are current collegiate players on campuses across the country. Nine of the week-one champions currently play collegiately and represent schools such as CMS, Louisiana, Arkansas State, and Toledo to name a few.
Play continues this week across six states. For a full list of upcoming events and results, head to the ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit event page.
