Valdosta State’s duo of Yohan Nguyen and Florian Simbozel debut as the nation’s No. 1 doubles pair in the first Oracle ITA Division II Men’s Doubles Rankings of the 2021 season. Simbozel was honored this week as the UTR ITA DII Men’s Player of the Week in part due to his outstanding doubles play with Nguyen. The pair has only dropped one match – to No. 19 Pons/Medeiros of Lee – in the dual match season.

Columbus State’s top tandem checks in at No. 2 in the rankings. Regalado and Cueto Ramos dropped their third match of the season last week to Nguyen/Simbozel. Rounding out the top three is Saint Leo’s top doubles pair of Parker/Traut. The Lions duo have yet to drop a match this season.

The Oracle ITA Division II Men’s Team Rankings and Singles Rankings were also released on Thursday.
