With doubles play beginning this morning in Paris, we took a walk down memory lane and dug up some achievements from the players’ college days. The thirteen former women’s collegiate players were the best of the best while in college and are continuing to play an important role in the professional ranks.

Alexa Guarachi | University of Alabama

  • Winningest doubles team in program history at end of collegiate career

Desirae Krawczyk | Arizona State University

  • Career High ITA Doubles Rank: No.6
  • Had consecutive years with wins over the top ranked player in the country

Giuliana Olmos | University of Southern California

Ellen Perez | University of Georgia

Astra Sharma | Vanderbilt University

Aliona Bolsova | Oklahoma State University, Florida Atlantic University

  • As a sophomore, she went 19-0 in singles, including a 17-0 record at No. 1 position
