Wilmington College is seeking an Intern Assistant Men’s & Women’s Tennis Coach for our inaugural season starting Fall of 2026.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, with significant collegiate tennis playing experience and eager to learn the college tennis coaching trade. The position is considered an internship, however there is a possibility it could be a grad assistantship for the right candidate.

This is an opportunity to learn from a longtime DI Head and Assistant coach in a highly supportive environment, and to help guide a brand new DIII Men’s & Women’s Tennis program. Preference will be given to those seeking a career in College or Professional tennis coaching. Women and Minorities are highly encouraged to apply.
Required Experience/Education:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-College tennis playing experience
Preferred Experience:
-Stringing
-Past Tennis Instruction
-12/15 Passenger Van operation
