TEMPE, Ariz. – The 25th annual HBCU National Tennis Championships are set to return this weekend at the South Fulton Tennis Center, where men’s and women’s programs from nine conferences will compete from September 17-20.

For the first time in tournament history, play will be split by each collegiate division. Each draw is scheduled to begin with the round of 16 or 32 for singles and the round of 16 for doubles.

On Friday, Sept. 18, the South Fulton Tennis Center will host an Alumni Red Ball Mixer at 6 p.m., in which the school with the most alumni registered will receive a $2,500 scholarship for their participating HBCU Championship tennis program.

The following day, in addition to another full slate of action on-court, the tournament will also host its HBCU Mini College Fair from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the South Fulton Tennis Center. Representatives from HBCU programs will meet with students and families to share more about the HBCU experience and additional information about their institution.
