Schreiner University, an NCAA Division III institution and member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Men’s & Women’s Tennis Coach to assist with all aspects of our tennis program.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and conducting daily practices
- Coach during team competitions
- Recruit qualified student-athletes
- Assist with team travel, scheduling, and match-day operations
- Support player development on and off the court
- Assist with equipment management and administrative duties
- Promote the mission and values of Schreiner University and NCAA Division III athletics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
- Collegiate tennis playing experience required
- Previous coaching and recruiting experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
- Commitment to fostering academic and athletic success
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coaching at the collegiate level
- Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and recruiting
- Experience with TennisRecruiting.net and UTR
Compensation
