Job Title: Head Women’s Tennis Coach

Job Description Summary: The Head Women’s Tennis Coach is responsible for the operation of a Division I women’s tennis program within the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Big South Conference, and Presbyterian College.
Duties and Tasks:
- Manages all aspects of the women’s tennis program, including practices, coaching staff, equipment, facilities, travel, scheduling, and competitions.
- Recruit prospective student athletes for Presbyterian College
- Observe and evaluate the training of student athletes to determine the need for individual improvement.
- Plan in-season and off-season practices, including team and individual workouts.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, working with a culture of individuals with diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations.
- Responsible for NCAA compliance within the women’s tennis program.
- Works cooperatively with the men’s tennis coach, athletic department personnel, campus community members, alumni, and donors.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, and Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- Collegiate or junior coaching
- Extensive knowledge of the sport of tennis
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility, and related functions.

Employee shall promptly report the same to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at the institution. Employee shall cooperate fully and completely with any investigation of any alleged violation, whether such investigation is conducted by the University, NCAA or any other duly authorized agency or individual.
