Position Title:
Graduate Assistant Coach, Women’s Tennis

Position Description:
The Missouri State University Women’s Tennis program is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Assistant Coach beginning in Fall 2026. This position provides valuable experience in NCAA Division I athletics and offers opportunities to develop coaching, recruiting, administrative, and leadership skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily practice planning and on-court coaching.
  • Support recruiting efforts, including communication with prospective student-athletes and recruiting database management.
  • Travel with the team to competitions as assigned.
  • Assist with match-day operations and event management.
  • Coordinate team travel logistics and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with social media content and program promotion.
  • Support academic monitoring and student-athlete development initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Acceptance into a Missouri State University graduate program.
  • Previous collegiate tennis playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
