2026 ITA National Collegiate Wheelchair Championships Begin Friday In Lake Nona

Lake Nona, FL – The 2026 ITA National Collegiate Wheelchair Tennis Championships will officially get underway this Friday, April 10th from the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Florida.

Brining in nine of the nation’s best collegiate wheelchair programs, this year will mark the 26th year in which this championship has been hosted as more and more colleges and universities across the country continue to expand their adaptive sport programs to include collegiate wheelchair tennis.

Participating schools this year include, Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Houston, Michigan, Michigan State, and San Diego State. San Diego State is the lone team participating who did not participate in the 2025 Championship as they make their return this year after many storied years of being one of the top programs in the country.

Defending champions Alabama are back as the third seeded team entering pool play. Led by All-American and ITA Singles Champion, Francesco Felici, the Tide have high hopes again this season but face tough opposition from Michigan and Arizona who enter as the top two seeds in this year’s championship.

The 2026 ITA National Wheelchair Championship will span from April 10-12 with the final being played on Sunday, April 12 beginning at 9:00 am (EST). All matches will be live streamed and we encourage fans to follow along with the action through the ITA social media accounts.
