St. Peter, MN – Coming off the heels of their first ITA National Team Indoor title in 2025, the CMS Stags have done it again this season being crowned 2026 ITA Division III Men’s National Team Indoor Champions after a successful weekend at Gustavus Adolphus.
Bringing back many top contributors from the 2025 team who brought the Stags their first title, CMS looked dominant all weekend in Minnesota taking down Swarthmore 5-2 in the quarterfinals, Case Western Reserve 5-2 in the Semifinals, and UChicago 4-1 in the championship match.
In Sunday’s final, CMS won the lone doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and No. 2 before following that up with singles wins on courts No. 1, No. 2, and No. 5. With the three wins this weekend, CMS now moves to 7-0 on the season and is a perfect 4-0 against Division III opponents.
