Evanston & Champaign, Illinois – The 2026 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship officially gets underway tomorrow morning from the campuses of Northwestern University and the University of Illinois.
This is the second year of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship in which two teams have served as hosts for one event bringing the nation’s best teams to two college towns. Fans will be treated to matches at each site from Friday through Sunday with the semifinalists having Sunday off to prepare for the semifinals and finals on Monday and Tuesday.

Which Teams Are Playing

Featuring 16 of the top Division I women’s tennis programs from across the country, 14 ITA Kickoff Weekend qualifiers will join hosts Northwestern and Illinois for the playing of the 2026 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship. This field includes both of the 2025 Team Indoor finalists, Texas A&M and Georgia, as well as many other notable programs such as North Carolina who had won four straight year from 2020-2023. Below you will find all of the competing teams broken up by host site:
Northwestern Host Site: Auburn (1), Georgia (2), LSU (3), Oklahoma State (4), NC State (5), Tennessee (6), Virginia (7), and Northwestern (8)
Illinois Host Site: North Carolina (1), Oklahoma (2), Texas A&M (3), Duke (4), Ohio State (5), Vanderbilt (6), Texas (7), and Illinois (8)
When Is It
The 2026 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship will take place from Friday, February 6th through Tuesday, February 110th with the Championship Match being played on Tuesday, February 10th.
Where Is It
Hosted by Northwestern University and the University of Illinois, play from the 2026 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship will be held at the Combe Tennis Center and the Atkins Tennis Center in Evanston, IL and Champaign, IL on the campuses of Northwestern University and the University of Illinois.
Main draw play will be split between each site on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, all main draw teams will have an off day as the teams from Illinois travel to Northwestern. Semifinal and Finals play will be held at Northwestern on Monday, February 9th and Tuesday, February 10th.
How To Watch
Cracked Racquets will once again be providing coverage of this years Championship. The Cracked Racquets stream on YouTube will feature all matches taking place at both the Combe Tennis Center and the Atkins Tennis Center. Broadcasts will begin with the first match on Friday and will continue through the championship match on Tuesday.
