JTCC is a nationally recognized nonprofit tennis organization committed to developing athletes—and people—for life. Our work spans junior development, adult programming, high-performance training, adaptive tennis, and community outreach across multiple locations.
Summer at JTCC is high-energy, demanding, developmental, and deeply rewarding. This role is not for someone looking to “just hit balls.” It is for someone who wants real coaching reps, real responsibility, and real growth.
What You’ll Do
Coaching, Operations & Professional Responsibilities
- Coach 30+ hours/week across all JTCC programs (Junior, Adult, Camps, Adaptive, Outreach, High-Performance)
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction aligned with standards
- Supervise athletes during breaks and off-court activities
- Teach scheduled private lessons to JTCC standards
- Accurately record attendance/manage court sheets, support basic admin/data collection, and assist with events (marketing, check-in, court monitoring, facilities)
- Help maintain clean, safe courts and facilities
- Must be willing to teach at any JTCC location (College Park, MD; Chantilly, VA; Thornton, NH; Potomac, MD) or approved off-site locations within a 20-mile radius

Logistics
- Season: Summer 2026
- Schedule: Variable; includes weekdays, evenings, nights, early mornings, and weekends
- Hours: Minimum 30 hours/week on court
- Locations: College Park, MD; Chantilly, VA; Thornton, NH; Potomac, MD
Compensation
- $25.00 per hour for all hours worked between 30–40 hours/week
- $37.50 per hour for all hours worked over 40 hours/week
