JTCC is a 501(c)(3) organization with the mission “Tennis for Everybody,” a commitment to making tennis and its benefits accessible to all, regardless of age, ability, or financial situation. Graduates of JTCC’s high performance program have earned more than $25 million in college athletic scholarships, and a few alumni of extraordinary talent and motivation are playing professional tennis, including World #15, Frances Tiafoe. JTCC offers a wide range of tennis programming including free, grassroots instruction for youth in low-income communities; all levels of junior and adult instruction; and adaptive tennis clinics for wheelchair users, Special Olympians, and military veterans.

About the Role
JTCC is hiring a part-time Junior and Adult Development Coach to deliver high-quality tennis instruction. This position is based at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, VA from May through October, and may continue during winter months if weather allows.
Job Responsibilities
Program Delivery (85%)
- Teach approximately 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends
- Organize and implement high-quality lessons, clinics, and camps for junior and adult players
- Establish a fun, energetic, and engaged on-court experience for all players
- Participate in adaptive and outreach programming
- Ensure smooth operations through equipment set-up, clean-up, and attendance tracking
- Produce report cards for players each session
- Teach in summer camps
- Build a clientele of private lessons
Organizational Support (15%)
- Assist with program promotion and growth
- Input on player progression along the JTCC pathway
- Respond to emails within 24 hours
- Assist with planning and execution of tennis events
- Attend professional development trainings and meetings
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Player Development – Chantilly
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of success in growing youth and adult sports program participation
- Strong tennis instruction background
- Excellence in communication and organization

Compensation
- $20-$40 per court-hour based on experience and qualifications
