Position: Performance Coach at SPORTED Tennis, Shanghai, China
About Us:
SPORTED Tennis Academy Is based in the vibrant city of Shanghai. Our mission is to develop an attainable student-athlete pathway with all aspects of development under one banner, and with one key goal: playing NCAA tennis! Our highest pursuit is to attain placement into strong universities through NCAA teams that are a best fit for our players.
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Performance Tennis Coach with NCAA background or experience to join our team and help shape the next generation of student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your team of aspiring student-athletes, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Run on-court coaching sessions, ensuring high standards of technical and tactical development.
- Develop and implement individualized training programs for players of all skill levels, from beginners to elite athletes.
- Implement tailored training programs to enhance player performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players according to the company policies.
- Work closely with your team to assess player progress, implement feedback, and adjust training programs.
- Assist with recruitment, scouting, and player development strategies.
- Foster a positive, professional, and supportive training environment.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and methodologies in tennis coaching and athlete development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of coaching experience, with at least 2 years as performance coach role.
- Playing level of UTR 10+
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proven ability to coach and develop players UTR 4-8.
- Background or experience in NCAA tennis area.
- Proactive and ambitious
- Certification from international tennis organizations (ITF, PTR, USTA, etc)
