The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) has released today the Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll for January 29, 2025.

Georgia remains in first place after a dominant showing in ITA Kickoff Weekend competition. The Bulldogs earned victories over Charlotte and Princeton this past weekend and are still yet to drop a point across three matches this spring. Next up for Georgia is a Top-Ten matchup against No. 8 North Carolina who will make the trip to Athens before the two travel to the state of Illinois for the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.

Across the remainder of the Top 25, several teams who impressed during the ITA Kickoff Weekend saw the biggest jumps in the poll from last week to this week. LSU rose six spots from No. 22 to No. 16 this week, while Tennessee (No. 13) and Oklahoma (No. 12) each moved up five spots after punching their tickets to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.

The ITA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by the ITA National Ranking Committee. The National Ranking Committee is made up of the 13 ITA Region Chairs, with each chair casting an individual, secret ballot.
