For Sander to be eligible for a chance to win this once-in-a-lifetime trip, he had to complete a handful of simple steps communicated to him via emails from the ITA to all coaches. Once these steps were completed, Sander was added to a pool of eligible coaches, and his name was drawn as the lucky winner of this once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Sander will be able to take in the year-end climax of the ATP Tour season, the Nitto ATP Finals, which welcomes the eight best singles players and doubles teams from the current tour season. In 2023, players such as Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannick Sinner, and Daniil Medvedev all competed with Djokovic being crowned the singles champion at the end of the competition.

“I am very excited to be the winner of the Dunlop Nitto ATP Finals Coach Giveaway,” stated Koning. “It was very unexpected and came as a big surprise. As a fan of tennis, it will be a dream come true to see all these incredible players play. My wife and I have never been to Italy and are very excited to explore Turin, eat some good food, and watch some incredible tennis. We haven’t seen any of the top players live and we will make sure we enjoy every minute of it.”
