The Intercollegiate Tennis Association “ITA” is excited to announce that mentee and mentor applications are now open for the 2024-25 ITA/USTA Mentorship Program.

Created in 2020 to help develop and educate the next generation of college coaches, this year-long program matches selected mentees with experienced current and retired Head Coach mentors from all divisions and backgrounds. The pairs communicate regularly throughout the year and build strong relationships and systems of support.

The 2024-25 class marks the fifth year of the program, which will kick off with a virtual orientation involving all of the mentees and mentors followed by virtual educational opportunities throughout the year featuring outside guests and experts who will present on topics most relevant to the mentees.

All accepted mentees will receive free registration to the 2024 ITA Coaches Convention and up to a $500.00 travel stipend. Details will be communicated with the recipients at a later date.

Coaches, we are also looking for new mentors for the mentorship program. If you are interested in giving back to the tennis community and sharing your knowledge with the next wave of coaches please fill out the form below.

Registration is now open and will run through Friday, June 28th. Coaches interested in becoming a mentee or mentor can sign up through the link below.

If you have any further questions or inquiries please direct them to the ITA Director of Coach Education, Lauren Conching ([email protected])
